life lately

well life here is too good to be true. i have met the best people in the world. money is easy to spend...i bought the most amazing hat in the world! it's a legit bavarian hat. well actually i think its an austrian hat but i bought it in bavaria. bavaria has really good food and castles. i realize this is all over the place but oh well. i am uploading a ton of pictures now. people are going to hate me for it but i feel bad for not posting any. the lectures here are incredible! i am learning so much that my head might explode. i have had to limit myself to one cafe visit per week and also one chocolate bar a week. i was doing both things far too frequently. if you ask me what i miss most about america i might just draw a blank. i love it here! free water is basically the only thing that i think i would actually miss. i would really love to live in friedrichshafen, it is the coolest city. i also love fischbach, where  we live. well, i am going to give you this link and be gone for now.

more life

well bode is still amazing. the lectures are like trying to cram a balloon into a straw. they are really good but it is so much revolutionary stuff to fit into this mind of mine. one of the chefs here is swedish and hates that there is no hot food in europe so he is out to make the most spicy stuff ever. he usually has a separate dish of whatever he makes that is the hot version. his house hot sauce is pure heat. then he made some chili that was almost torturous. the worst came when he concocted  a new hot sauce. it literally hurt to eat it. i was in so much pain i had to run to the kitchen and boil while i waited for a pitcher of milk. later on, during dish duty, as i sprayed the dishes off, the mist coming off the hot sauce plates was in the air and it burned my throat and lungs. i am still coughing a little bit.
today i felt like going to Frieds so i did and i spent way too much money. that was today. so....more to come later. sorry this blog is so lame. but not sorry enough to do anything about it! haha! i hope you realize this is a good thing and smile inside at the thought of me being here hating internet, facebook and all such things. well bye!

it is almost impossible to upload pictures here. there are a few people that do but we hate them because they use all the internet so i will be doing very little of any of that. so...hiking was amazing! in a month, me and 35 other people are going to a hut in the alps in austria. i am going to be one of the cooks. there is snowy alp hiking and hot tubs and anything better than you will be doing november 11th. i would say i dont mean to brag but that would in fact be an outright lie. i am actually jealous of myself right now. so if you cry, i understand. but seriously this place has the most amazing people and places. i am so blessed to be here! bye
